When I started this blog, I had every intention of keeping it up-to-date and interesting. But as with most things, life happened.
So here’s the last two years in brief:
May 2014: I became single.
June 2014: One of my dogs, Molly, passed away leaving me with a lot of heartache, and a lonely (and now spoilt) old man.
Chaz-bert, the spoilt 14 year old
October 2014: I said goodbye to my second home, Jelly, in the hopes of gaining more experience. I returned to the NHS with the contract management, quality and performance teams within Blackpool.
January 2015: I turned 28. Joy. I also started dating with mixed results.
May 2015: I didn’t get married.
June 2015: I went on holiday for the first time abroad in about 5 years.
Yes, that’s my mum.
August 2015: My brother moved into his own place. (YAAAAAY!)
September 2015: I went to EGX and saw some beautiful friends.
CardboredZero is my biggest fan <3
October 2015: Caught up with old friends at MCM Comic Con London (and Halloween, obviously).
November 2015: Helped out at the first Sexpo event in London. Then Andreas left us, Jelly and the UK.
My favourite photo from that weekend.
December 2015: Visited Motorcycle Live in Birmingham and Manchester Christmas Markets (with the gorgeous Callum and Karla) for the first time.
A lot of heartache, a lot of laughter with some delicious cakes thrown in.
(L-R) iced buns with fresh cream and home-made jam, Victoria Sponge with fresh cream, fresh strawberries and black cherries, and finally Bailey’s Chocolate Mud Cake.
So, that leads me to 2016 and what the future holds… all I know at the moment is:
I leave the NHS (again) in January 2016. This time, for good.
The rest will be filled with wonderful people, extraordinary stories and a truck load of opportunities and challenges. Oh, and cake.
